Dr. Bogdan Antonescu
I am an atmospheric physicist with an interest on extreme weather events and climate change.
I have a PhD from the University of Bucharest, Faculty of Physics and I have worked as a severe weather forecaster and researcher at the Romanian National Meteorological Administration and as a postdoctoral research associate at the University of Manchester (United Kingdom). I am a Fellow of the Royal Meteorological Society and member of European Severe Storms Laboratory and American Meteorological Society.
